Our people are our most important asset. Therefore, we invest heavily in their development and training through regular training sessions, training materials, weekly meetings, and mentorship. Entry-level accounting staff at our firm are considered Associates. Associates learn the fundamentals of tax, including payroll, sales tax, and income tax. We aim to teach them a well-rounded technical skillset that they can utilize anywhere they may go in their careers. Sr. Associates have learned those fundamentals and handle a small group of business client accounts. The Sr. Associate level is a training ground to develop strong client management, organization, communication, and planning skills. Once the Sr. Associates have developed those important "soft" skills and further developed their technical abilities, they may earn the position of Accountant. As an Accountant, they manage a much larger group of clients. They ensure year-round client needs are met and focus on business development and new client sales. In addition, they start to develop more expertise within specific industries or specific tax areas. Beyond the Accountant level, we have Sr. Accountants who are focused on higher sales or Accountant Managers who are focused on managing the staff and reviewing work.
In addition to the accounting staff, we have strong backend support teams involved with customer service, billing, and project coordination.
